About Eddy

Eddy's Mobile Barbering brings the barber experience to you — home, work, hospital and care home visits across Skipton, Craven and Pendle.

In 2024, Eddy's won Hair and Beauty Business of the Year at the Skipton Business Awards.

Alongside regular haircuts and beard trims, Eddy's also offers SEN & dementia-friendly appointments — something that's so far mostly spread by word of mouth.

How Eddy got into barbering

Before barbering, Eddy spent 22 years working as a bouncer.

"My sister sent me to college to learn how to become a barber after my grandad passed away in 2020. He developed dementia in his final years and would no longer let her cut his hair — he thought it was a man's job. Once he passed, I felt a little bit lost, and she sent me back to school to learn. That's been the drive to push me to be a better barber, and to help as many people as I can who struggle to receive something we all take for granted."
